I was doing super well, getting intrigued by the story and this kept me going even with the unpleasant wall jump experience, but then my game got stuck when I died before a checkpoint:
Its an amazing game, needs some tweeks and quality of life (Like going backwards with A instead of Q ???), but still quite amazing and pretty.
Thank you for giving it a try! Yeah, the game isn't perfect at all. It was made at the end of my first year in video game studies and was really fun to make. As for the keybindings, it's because I am French, and the equivalent of WASD here is ZQSD :).
The story revolves around an invocation being abandoned by its summoner (the little guy in red), prompting a journey to find him. Along this journey, hints of a past story emerge (such as discovering a picture in a house or encountering a skeleton). By mimicking these individuals, the invocation evolves, changing shape and acquiring new skills to progress further in his own mission.
PS: The parallel human story follows a family abandoned by their father (killing himself, lol, you can find a hanging rope in the house). They live in a basement but decide to venture out, ultimately failing to survive and perishing atop the forest.

Thanks again for playing it ! Glad you liked it
Could you give some story background? I got super intrigued by it! Why do I start as a blob? Why I am seeing skeletons of loved ones? Whats my goal?
